Originally a Tudor farmhouse in the village of Kings Coughton (where the infamous Gunpowder Plot was hatched), the building has been delightfully extended over the years.
The hotel is ideally situated for visiting Stratford upon Avon (7 miles/11 km away) with its theatre and attractions, as well as Ragley Hall, Coughton Court and Warwick Castle. The NEC, NIA and Birmingham International Conference Centre are also easily accessible.

By Car
From the North:
- Exit at junction 3 of the M42.
- Follow the A435 through Studley.
- Follow signs for Alcester, and the hotel is on the left, one mile north of Alcester.
From the South:
- Exit at junction 15 of the M40.
- Follow signs for Sratford-upon-Avon (A46), then signs for Alcester (A46/A435).
- Follow the bypass past Alcester, until the roundabout.
- Take the A435 to Studley/Redditch.
- The hotel is a mile from the roundabout on the right-hand side.
